Purveyors of fine soaps
to the gentry and the filthy rich |

Reading really helps me switch off. I light a Heyland & Whittle Green Tea
& Grapefruit Candle and indulge in a good book I have just read the best
book ever called Room by Emma Donoghue which is written in the language of a
5yr old boy Jack and how he sees life in somewhat gruesome and unusual
circumstances. It's overall praise is of motherhood and parental love.
Having an early start with a swim and a work out at the local gym before
work is a dedicated task but afterwards to help me revive I always shower
with Heyland & Whittle Neroli & Rose Body Wash and follow with the matching
Body Lotion for a quick calming, soothing lift.
I know many people shun coffee but I have a passion for black
Americanas. A real treat and I just love that smell of freshly ground
coffee.
Paddy and I have moved out of London now to be closer to the business
but when we are in town and time permitting we will grab tickets to
the theatre
- War Horse was a recent favourite. We often go to the live filming of the
Graham Norton Shows where we donate a "goodie bag" of H&W products to every
guest he interviews. It's such a laugh!

Ursula Heyland demonstrating making a soap bundle during a press release in Taiwan.
I so enjoy a good film and have a good collection of DVD 's but I
still get a real thrill from the cinema experience - the big screen
and around sound makes it really special. I also like to laugh at the
cinema and the just released The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel ticked all
the boxes for us
Late night relaxation comes in the form of a long soak in a bath with
bubbles - throw in a splash of our Citrus and Lavender Foam Bath and I
am instantly listening to the bees humming in a summer garden.
Naughty but nice and enjoyed with friends is a good chat with a crisp
white Meursault or a full bodied Malbec.
Watching great sport is really inspiring and such good fun. The start
of the Fastnet sailing race in Cowes is really exciting, especially
when the wind blows really hard. Rugby at Twickenham is another
favourite as I enjoy watching England beat Ireland - shame for Paddy,as he
is Irish!
For an instant calm me down a quick burst of Heyland & Whittle Coconut
Vanilla and Blackpepper Hand Cream, rub in well and inhale and you are
on a tropical island! Koh Mak is my favourite a little piece of paradise
in Thailand.
Last but not definitely not least, family suppers. Get the Heyland
clan round a large table, with some great food, and they are off- it's
fantastic.
